Caregiver Information

As many as 50% of women over 50 have symptoms of a pelvic floor disorder (PFD), such as fecal incontinence, urinary incontinence or overactive bladder, so it is likely there is a woman in your life—your wife, mother, sister, aunt or friend—who is suffering from this sometimes embarrassing health problem. Family members and close friends play an important role in helping women cope with and treat their pelvic floor disorders, and this Web site has been designed with you, the caregiver, in mind, so you can provide the best care to your loved ones.

Use this Web site to learn more about PFD, talk to your loved one about her symptoms and find a provider, such as a urogynecologist, who can help.
