Plan a "Break Free from PFDs" Local Event

The “Break Free From PFDs” Local Events are happening across the country to educate women about the common, yet often overlooked problem of Pelvic Floor Disorders (PFDs) and encourage them to share their stories and seek medical advice from a specialist regarding treatment options.

Interested in hosting a Local Event in your area? The PFD Alliance has created a Local Event Toolkit to assist you in your planning efforts. The Toolkit includes the following materials:

    • Logistics Guide
    • Customizable Invitations and Flyers
    • PFD Fact Sheet
    • Template Press Release
    • Event Itinerary
    • Slide Presentation
    • Event Evaluation

The event should last between 1 to 2 hours and follow the suggested itinerary below:

    • Light Refreshment and Guest Arrival
    • Welcome and Introduction
    • Slide Presentation (provided in the toolkit)
    • Patient Testimonials (optional)
    • Questions and Conversation
